One of the things mentioned in the recent meeting on safeguarding was the use of a "Report Abuse" button on some websites. Would it be a good idea to have one of these buttons on Catten's web page? There's a discussion here on how to do it.
Basically, if someone wants to report a concern, or an actual act of abuse, they can do it by clicking this button. In today's world, a lot of teenegers would probably feel more comfortable doing it this way than using a more traditional method.
Apparently, people like Microsoft and Google have refused to have one of these buttons on their web pages because it takes-up valuable advertising space (yes, really), but MySpace have got one (and MySpace is very popular with the young'ns). I'm sure we could find space for one of these buttons, it could be something we're doing for "Every Child Matters", what say you?
