EMA - Posted By bozo (bozo) on 16th Oct 09 at 2:40pm
Hey Peoples!!!

Now this probably wont apply to everyone but thought I would put it on her so the people it does apply to can see it. {Smile}

We are now working with the Istitute on this new EMA thingy, and I have just ordered some of the EMA Application Packs that need to be handed to the learners that have chosen to do this. Please let me know if you would like some, and as soon as they come in I will give you the amount needed.

Thank you

Zoe

EMA is the money paid to learners by the government. Similar to the old training allowance.
It stands for Education Maintenance Allowance, and is aimed at students whose parents are on low incomes. The students get £30.00 / week for showing-up and there are additional payments (bonuses) for other things, targets met etc.

I think that's right - BoZo might put me right on one or two things {Tongue Out}
